Their Own Bosses by Martha Shirk and Anna S. Wadia.

“Gender, Redistricting, and Other Aspects of
Election 2002,” a new study conducted by Beloit
College political scientist Georgia Duerst-Lahti, finds that
the expansion of women’s representation in American
legislatures appears to be losing ground. The report
concludes, “the most prominent facet of gender and election
2002 is the fact that when it is over men will still
overwhelmingly rule.”
