| Nonprofit organizations that wish to be part of the
solution in advocating for change for Rhode Island's women and
girls are encouraged to examine the materials in this
section.
The Fund seeks both to support replication of successful
projects initiated by other women's funds across the nation -
encouraging small business training among low-income women,
teaching construction skills to adolescent girls, providing
case management services to women with AIDS, encouraging
intergenerational arts programs, offering programs to girls
involved in the juvenile justice system, and providing legal
support, counseling and advocacy to women transitioning from
welfare to work - and to encourage new answers to the
challenges.
We hope you'll be part of the solution!
