Leadership Development

Women leaders are essential to successful social change, we work to develop and encourage women to engage as leaders in both the public and private sector.

As an example, we established the Women’s Policy Institute, the second program of its kind in the nation, in 2007.  Each year a group of intergenerational women graduate from the professional development and mentoring program, which was designed to develop policy advocacy and strategic communications skills among women who are interested in influencing the policymaking process.
