We are a group of inspiring people working together to eliminate gender inequity in our state through systemic change.
Some are mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, partners, wives, husbands, girls and boys; volunteers, board members, donors, interns; former elected officials, current legislators, state workers, local business owners and companies.
Like you, all are engaged, investing time and dollars to go directly into grant making, advocacy and research by the Fund. Bound by a vision of an equitable society, they act, in our communities at times even proposing new bills and legislation to ensure that women and girls in Rhode Island have a voice.
What started out as a small field of interest fund back in 2001, became independent in 2005, and is now a leader in the movement to improve policies that impact women and girls.
